Starting this year, I embarked on a passion project — to design an app, or a series of apps, that connect local musicians with event organizers and vice versa, making it easier for artists to book gigs and for organizers to discover fresh talent.
Inspired by the UI functionalities of dating apps, I wanted to build a feature that enables users to swipe through events and artists—and have the ability to book them.
Success Metrics
Task Completion Rate: Increase the percentage of users successfully completing core tasks (e.g., adding a new data entry).
Time on Task: Reduce the average time required to perform key actions like searching, filtering, or editing data.
Error Rate: Decrease the frequency of user errors in navigating the interface or managing data.
User Satisfaction: Achieve a significant improvement in user satisfaction scores (via post-launch surveys or Net Promoter Scores).
Adoption Rate: Increase the number of users actively using the redesigned features within the first three months post-launch.
