Problem:

Relationship bankers had to navigate multiple disconnected systems to open accounts for in person customers, creating friction, delays, and a poor client experience.

Situation:

30 min

average time to complete
a loan application

3 systems

bankers switched between
per case

$200

avg. operational cost
per application

What I did:

I joined the project at the earliest stage to untangle this fragmented workflow, introducing functional prototypes to align product and engineering around a unified solution and accelerate platform rollout.

What happened:

15 min

average time to complete
a loan application

1

centralized system

$150

avg. operational cost
per application

What I delivered:

I designed a unified end to end account opening flow that consolidated every step into a single platform, including identity verification with DocuSign integration, a responsive disclosure checklist, account type selection, funding, and final review.
